Original War 2 is a name of a prospective sequel to Original War. The possibility of a second game was mentioned by former developers of the original game in several interviews. It is often noted that it's unlikely that a sequel would ever happen. There were also several attempts of fans to develop a second game.
Lukáš Veselý stated in a 2013 interview for Hrej.cz that Altar several times considered making Original War 2 but other projects were prioritized. Robert Hoffman stated in 2018 that he would like to make a sequel to Original War but noted that it is unlikely due to the limited success of the first game and an overall lack of finances.

Greeny[]
A Czech fan of the game known as Greeny worked on Original War 2 in 2008. He released several screenshots showing 3D models of Arabian units. The project was never finished.
Midgard PL[]
A Polish fan of the game, Midgard PL, posted on the Steam forums that he is looking for fans of the game, modders etc. to make a game inspired by Original War. He also made a Facebook group for people to make a spiritual successor of Original War.
